FBMM (Flood Bumstead McCready & McCarthy) invites you to join our team as an HR Manager, Recruiting & Employee Engagement. FBMM is an established, highly respected entertainment business management firm with offices in Nashville, New York, and Los Angeles, representing top recording and touring artists, songwriters, and creatives across all music genres.

We're looking for an HR Manager to lead our efforts and ensure our employees feel welcomed, supported, and ready to thrive from day 1. This position reports to the Sr. VP, Human Resources and is based in our Nashville office. Our starting pay range is $70-90K, taking applicable experience into consideration.
What You'll Do
Lead full‑cycle recruiting: manage everything from job postings and resume reviews to interviews, reference checks, and offers.
Create a best‑in‑class onboarding experience: oversee self‑onboarding, lead weekly onboarding meetings, and coordinate with managers and the Training team to set new hires up for success.
Champion our New Hire Mentor Program to ensure every employee feels connected and supported.
Drive college recruiting initiatives: build strong relationships with universities and faculty in targeted degree programs, manage Handshake campaigns, and promote Business Management as a career path.
Support key HR processes such as new hire and termination workflows, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
Be the go‑to expert on recruiting, hiring, and onboarding best practices while staying current on HR trends.
Support the Performance Feedback Process: coordinate all aspects of the performance feedback process for new hires and existing employees.
Play an active role in defining hiring, performance, and engagement strategies as you grow with the company.
Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism while supporting HR projects as needed.
What You'll Bring
4+ years of experience in a recruiting role or bachelor's degree in human resources related area with some recruiting experience.
Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS or applicant tracking systems.
Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and process improvement skills.
Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable communicating across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment.
Additional Information
Occasional travel between offices may be required.
Some lifting or moving of items over 10 pounds may be needed.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
