In this role you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful execution of new stories to audiences worldwide. We are seeking a self‑starter who is passionate, curious, and collaborative—someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact. As a Studio Logistics Specialist, you will oversee day‑to‑day shipping operations, manage impactful logistics projects, develop strong vendor relationships, and provide exceptional customer service across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to plan and manage all aspects of logistics, warehousing and transportation, both domestically and internationally.

Lead and manage complex, unconventional logistics projects to support studio and production needs.

Provide accurate quotes, status updates, shipment bookings to ensure timely and reliable delivery of goods globally.

Must be adaptable and tailor support to meet the unique needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

Work closely with the Trade Compliance team to ensure all logistics requests adhere to each country’s unique regulations, including customs, and other government agencies.

Possess experience and an understanding of correct packing protocols for shipping sensitive, fragile, and hazardous materials.

Process logistics requests efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics vendors and freight forwarders.

Continuously support and improve the vendor management program, such as covering workflows, SOPs, KPIs and providing ad hoc feedback.

Identify and implement best practices to scale logistics operations for Netflix’s growing studio presence.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 10 years in Film/TV production logistics, preferably within entertainment-focused shipping companies.

Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management, including import/export compliance and customs procedures.

Experience in developing and managing external supplier relationships, including partnerships with international freight forwarders and integrated carriers (e.g. UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.).

Basic understanding of trade compliance, ATA Carnet, and Dangerous Goods.

Desired Skills/Attributes

Extremely detail‑oriented and highly organized.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated customer service experience is essential for this role.

Occasional on‑site visits to local vendors, warehouses, and production offices may be required.

Compensation The range for this role is $50,000 - $245,000. Netflix provides a salary‑only compensation structure; bonuses are not part of this role.
