Assistant Manager of Customer Marketing Your Impact The Assistant Manager of Customer Marketing works with leadership to develop omni‑channel engagement and retention strategies for DIY and Pro customers. The role leverages data‑driven insights, understands competitive landscape, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver personalized customer experiences.

What You Will Do

Partner with Customer Marketing Managers to execute campaigns focused on DIY or Pro audiences, operating independently within cross‑functional marketing pods.

Analyze data to draw actionable insights and develop tactical plans that drive incremental sales and margin through omni‑channel journeys.

Support the Customer Marketing Manager in refining segment strategy and crafting briefs, acting as an assistant integrator across the organization.

Collaborate with Creative, Customer Data Activation, Paid & Owned Channel Execution, DACI, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Store Ops, Merchandising and Pro Services to identify and address critical service gaps along the customer journey.

Measure KPIs, identify trends, and champion continuous improvement opportunities.

Apply modern marketing solutions such as data‑enabled personalization in campaign planning.

Operate effectively in a fast‑paced test‑and‑learn environment, driving organizational change through action.

Communicate customer segment strategy beyond the team to secure alignment and support.

Build strong working relationships with cross‑functional peers and global partners.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital, E‑Commerce, or equivalent experience.

4 years of data‑driven marketing experience.

2 years of strong business acumen and experience managing or working alongside P&L owners.

2 years of experience writing strategic briefs and leading cross‑functional customer marketing or integrated teams.

1 year of leadership experience, preferably in Agile cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Skills / Education

2 years of experience leading customer marketing at a retailer.
