Responsibilities Design & Concept Development

Research seasonal trends, colors, fabrics, trims, and silhouettes to support apparel and game day collections.

Develop sketches, mood boards, CADs, and presentation materials reflecting the brand’s creative direction.

Assist in building cohesive collections and participate in internal line reviews.

Technical Development

Create detailed tech packs and design specifications for production partners.

Work with patternmakers, vendors, and product development to ensure accurate execution of designs.

Review samples and prototypes, providing clear fit notes, revisions, and approvals.

Market & Consumer Focus

Analyze competitor assortments and customer insights to support trend‑right, high‑demand apparel.

Balance creativity with commercial viability, cost targets, and production capabilities.

Collaboration & Communication

Partner closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to meet design, quality, and delivery timelines.

Support marketing by providing creative assets for campaigns, photoshoots, and product launches.

Quality & Brand Consistency

Ensure all apparel aligns with Brianna Cannon’s brand identity, visual aesthetic, and quality standards.

Explore new techniques, embellishments, finishes, and materials to keep the assortment fresh and competitive.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.

1–3 years of apparel design experience (women’s, licensed, or trend‑driven categories a plus).

Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and trend awareness.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD development.

Solid understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, fabrics, and trims.

Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
