Key Responsibilities

Lead Web3 Design Initiatives: Define, own, and deliver end‑to‑end design for core decentralized services, DApps, and protocols.

Collaborate Across the Chain: Work tightly with engineering and protocol teams to understand technical constraints of various blockchains (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Layer 2s).

Advocate for Decentralized Design Systems: Champion a design system that balances rapid Web3 innovation with high‑security interfaces.

Prototype with Precision & Speed: Rapidly design, prototype, and test new features, focusing on reducing friction in Web3 flows.

Mentor and Grow the Guild: Guide Product Designers on decentralization challenges, including security and self‑custody.

Make native experience: Seamlessly integrate crypto and FIAT currency flows for workers.

Drive Clarity from Cryptic Complexity: Distill complex cryptographic concepts into clear user narratives and interfaces.

Outstanding Communication and Community Facilitation: Communicate design vision within a transparent, often pseudonymous, community environment.

Requirements

Deep Passion for Decentralization: Genuine, deep‑seated passion for Web3 and true digital ownership.

Extensive Design Experience: 7–9 years as a Product Designer, with at least 2 years leading as a Staff Product Designer (or equivalent).

Data‑Informed Design in an Anonymous World: Evidence‑backed decisions using qualitative data, protocol analytics, and on‑chain metrics.

Comfortable with High‑Stakes Ambiguity: Drive clarity in a constantly evolving Web3 ecosystem.

Balances User Ownership and Protocol Requirements: Empower users with ownership while ensuring protocol integrity and security.

Strong Communicator and Educator: Translate complex blockchain mechanics for a mainstream audience.

Mentorship Experience: Proven track record of coaching designers in security and usability challenges.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Embedded experience with blockchain engineers and smart contract developers.

Nice to Have

Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of Crypto, DeFi, and digital asset management.

Web3‑Specific Expertise: Proven experience designing high‑stakes interfaces for wallets, DeFi platforms.
