Sr. Events Producer (Madison, WI - Hybrid)
Base pay range: $91,300.00/yr - $136,900.00/yr

Job Purpose This hands‑on, highly collaborative position is responsible for the end‑to‑end planning and execution of select events. This role is both strategic and tactical, partnering with a cross‑functional team to conceptualize, plan, and execute high‑impact events that are true to our mission, bring our brand to life, deliver aligned content that resonates, and deliver tangible business results. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen eye for detail will be critical in delivering memorable experiences for our audiences.
Job Responsibilities
Pre‑production and planning
Concept development
Partner with cross‑functional team to define annual event thematic; lead definition of individual event goals, objectives and audience experiences
Project oversight
Manage end‑to‑end production of signature events; provide support to other events as necessary
Partner with planners and stakeholders to develop over‑arching timelines with detailed milestones that encompass planning through execution
Oversee project budgets with a focus on ROI and cost‑efficiency, process invoices ensuring accurate coding is used
Monitor and track event expenses, provide reports and ensure financial accountability
Experience
Define the attendee journey, leveraging brand measurement insights of future consideration drivers to create on‑brand experiences and activations that deliver against defined goals and objectives
Partner with stakeholders to craft post‑event attendee (internal and external) surveys to drive continuous improvement
Content
Ensure event content and messaging aligns to defined content strategies, highlighting key business messaging, while meeting compliance standards, including data privacy, financial disclosures, and brand standards
Partner with speakers and presenters to align content to event objectives
Partner with creative to deliver set design, multi‑media elements and any other tactical executions needed to bring the brand to life and deliver on business objectives
Own creation and execution of event run‑of‑show documents, prepare audience briefing documents
On‑site Execution
Partner with event planners to manage production crews, stage managers, and booth staff
Resolve last‑minute issues quickly and calmly
Ensure the event follows the planned schedule and transitions smoothly
Post event reporting
Conduct post‑event analysis, including attendee feedback, engagement metrics, and ROI
Provide insight to improve future events and support sales follow‑up
General
Serve as in‑house event production expert
Create standard operating procedure documents and templates leveraging industry best practices
Develop and manage positive, collaborative cross‑functional working relationships
Drive innovation and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices
Complete and leverage departmental best practices training

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; Master’s preferred.
5+ years of business, financial services or insurance industry event production experience preferred.
Strong project management skills required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization and manage multiple stakeholders.
Extremely organized with great attention to detail and holds deep value and respect for operational excellence.
Experience with analyzing collected data, creating action plans, and implementing process changes.
Understands the role events play as part of broader integrated marketing plans to deliver business results.
Works effectively in time‑sensitive environment.
Motivated by achieving and exceeding desired business results.
Demonstrated ability in the following:

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Position Specific
