Charlap Hyman & Herrero (CHH) is seeking an Interior Designer to join our Los Angeles studio. This is a dynamic, hands‑on role supporting the development and execution of high‑level interior design projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong design sensibility, organizational skills, and the ability to contribute across all phases of the design process. With a balance of creative, technical, and administrative responsibilities, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the continued growth of our AD100‑recognized firm.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Lead several projects or project phases from concept through installation, with guidance from Design Director and Principal

Develop and present design concepts, reference images, mood boards, and material palettes

Create and manage furniture plans, elevations, and details using AutoCAD

Communicate directly with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle

Prepare and lead client presentations

Conduct site visits, field measurements, and oversee installations

Provide mentorship to interns or junior team members, if applicable

Excellent communication skills

Proficiency in Studio Designer, Harvest, Wrike or project management software

Strong visual communication skills demonstrated through hand drafting, sketching, or 3D modeling

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, Sketchup

Assist with procurement, scheduling, and tracking of FF&E

Accepting both part‑time and full‑time applicants
