Overview
Creative Arts Therapist (Per Diem) – MJHS. Position will cover Queens and Nassau regions. Schedule: 1-2 nights per week from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Base pay range $37.00/hr - $37.00/hr

Our programs include home care, hospice and palliative care for adults and children, rehabilitation and nursing care at the Menorah and Isabella Centers, and the MJHS Institute for Innovation and Palliative Care. Responsibilities
In this position you will utilize creative arts therapy interventions specific to the discipline of music therapy in providing the clinical assessment and treatment of physical, psychosocial, and spiritual end-of-life issues for patients, caregivers, and bereaved persons of all ages in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan-of-care
You will participate in the clinical training and supervision of creative arts therapy interns; and support special programming, research, education & marketing efforts to promote the organization's mission and growth
Qualifications
NY-State licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)
ATR-BC
Minimum of one year experience working as a creative arts therapist in either hospice, palliative care, or acute medical settings (academic internship placement hours may be considered as a portion of this experience)
Availability late afternoon/evening/weekends
