Overview Position: Licensed Insurance Producer (In-Office) at A-MAX Insurance in Madera, CA 93637. This role emphasizes sales, customer service, and in-office operations to support insured clients and prospects.
Job Responsibilities
Assist customers with various types of insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering all questions.
Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk based on general condition, age, and other characteristics.
Seek out new clients, generate lists of prospective clients, and develop clientele by networking and marketing. Develop marketing strategies with the office manager to attract new customers.
Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals; contact underwriting to complete policies.
Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
Position Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
Hold a valid and current Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License in California (highly preferred, but not required).
Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn company software.
Complete continuing education courses (paid for by A-MAX) as required to maintain active license status with CDI.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay vs Commission: $18-$50/hour
