multiple Medical Services Rep (MSR)

positions. We are seeking an MSR with a book of business of referral sources for the Villages area of

Lake County (Eustis, Tavares, Mt Dora, Leesburg, Umatilla) .

Summary Serves as a liaison between the professional staff, community, hospital, healthcare facilities, physicians, physicians’ staff, elder care attorneys, and elder planning financial advisors. Acts as a resource for information to ensure quality care for the patient.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Complies with agency policies and procedures.

Ensures open line of communication and education between the agency, physicians and their staff, hospitals, attorneys, and financial planners servicing our demographic.

Serves as a liaison between the agency and the referral community.

Conducts medical community awareness to promote services of the agency.

Keeps referral source profiles current and provides documentation/information to the SVP, Assistant Administrator, Director of Nursing, Scheduling Supervisors, and clinical staff to facilitate quality patient care, track referrals, and meet goals.

Retrieves signed POCs or Physician Change Orders from physicians’ offices as requested and notifies the Nurse Manager immediately if there are problems obtaining signed POCs/VOs.

If certified, works as a Geriatric Care Manager, providing GCM services in the patient setting.

Reaches goals for sales calls and admissions.

Participates in staff development activities and in‑service meetings as required.

Represents the agency at all times in a professional and loyal manner at community network meetings and events.

Maintains client/patient confidentiality in accordance with Florida Law and the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Performs other duties as assigned.
