Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web or digital products.
Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive, user-centered design and accessibility best practices.
Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Photoshop.
Experience in user research, usability testing, and design iteration.
Knowledge of WCAG and Section 508 standards.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with WCAG accessibility testing tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with web development technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, Razor, or Blazor.
Position Summary The Senior UX/UI Designer will create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered interfaces for web applications. The role blends creative design, user empathy, and analytical problem-solving to deliver functional and accessible digital experiences. This person will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to translate concepts into wireframes, prototypes, and final designs that meet accessibility and usability standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design engaging, user-friendly interfaces for web applications and Microsoft platform tools.
Collaborate with BI developers to design clear and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Conduct user research and usability testing, applying feedback to improve design quality.
Ensure designs meet WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards.
Maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components.
Work closely with developers to ensure design accuracy in implementation.
Translate business requirements into intuitive, functional design solutions.
Present design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
Mentor business analysts on design principles and usability best practices.
