Supported and mentored by a team of technical experts and project managers to design and produce plans for a variety transportation design projects for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).
Responsibilities
As part of a project team, collaborate on plan production to produce high quality plans, specifications that follow INDOT standards and guidelines
Manage and coordinate project drawings using Microstation, InRoads software
Complete design tasks and produce high quality plans, specifications, and estimate deliverables to create an exemplary client experience
Collaborate with engineering staff on technical challenges while adhering to task performance indicators, budgets, and schedules
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Associate’s degree or college training may be substituted for some, but not all 10+ years of relevant experience
INDOT Utility Coordination Certification preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering design and production software (MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD and Civil3D)
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project, and industry needs
