Our projects are all highly structured and use teams made up of remote consultants who are domain experts. Consultants are compensated based on expertise and experience. Media Driven Commerce Ecosystems Expert This role decodes how media drives commerce. You will analyze how content marketing, creator output, films, series, sports, and live events convert audience attention into merchandise sales and other revenue. You must map the path from content to audience to monetization, and quantify it. You understand cross-format differences in merchandising. Films move product differently than a YouTube channel. Both differ from on-site sales at an F1 race. You can use concrete cases (e.g., MrBeast converting audience reach into candy bar sales) to build models and playbooks. Quire needs a strategist with direct experience, not theory. You will design new business models and the merchandising strategy for emerging platforms, with clear assumptions, KPIs, and go-to-market steps. Quire will pay a premium rate for an individual who works autonomously, responds rapidly, understands urgency, and demonstrates strong judgment in candidate selection. Key Responsibilities: Analyze emerging platforms for merchandisable audience opportunities and size the revenue potential. Assess monetization models across short-form, live, and hybrid formats with a focus on merchandise, drops, bundles, and memberships. Map content to audience to commerce funnels and quantify conversion from attention to merchandise sales. Develop cross-format merchandising frameworks for film, series, YouTube, podcasts, sports, and on-site events, including pricing, margin, and sell-through. Prepare briefs that connect platform performance to SKU velocity, average order value, CAC, LTV, repeat purchase, and attribution. Collaborate with data and strategy teams to instrument tracking across storefronts and platforms and to define KPIs and dashboards. Track creator economy deal terms tied to commerce, including revenue share, licensing, co-branding, retail partnerships, and fulfillment models. Benchmark platform-driven commerce against legacy retail and DTC to identify lift drivers and leakage points. Identify early indicators of audience or SKU fatigue and propose tests for new offers, bundles, channels, and pricing. Convert findings into investor-ready assumptions, scenarios, and go-to-market steps for new commerce models. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, marketing, or related field 5+ years in media or creator commerce, merchandising, or content-led revenue strategy Proven ability to map content to audience to monetization and model funnels from reach to conversion to repeat purchase Hands-on experience with storefronts and marketplaces such as Shopify, Amazon, YouTube Shopping, TikTok Shop Fluency in merchandising economics: pricing, COGS, margin, sell-through, inventory turns, returns Ability to build revenue forecasts and unit economics for merchandise, drops, bundles, and memberships Strong analytical skills in Excel or Google Sheets; SQL a plus; experience with GA4 and platform analytics; attribution familiarity Experience with licensing, co-branding, retail partnerships, and 3PL or fulfillment operations Comfort running tests: A/B, offer and pricing tests, cohort analysis Ability to produce concise, investor-ready briefs, models, and dashboards Understanding of platform algorithms and discovery mechanics across major social and video platforms Track record spanning multiple formats: film and TV, YouTube, podcasts, sports, and live events Excellent writing and synthesis skills for executive audiences Operates with urgency and sound judgment, able to work autonomously COMPENSATION (CONTRACT) Compensation for this role is based on experience and ranges from
$60 to $100
per hour, with a potential for a higher scale based on more complex creative work.
