We are a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company with a range of assets, including petroleum refining and logistics. Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day. Plays a key role in optimizing Delek’s refinery, pipeline, and logistics assets through strategic marketing of physical commodities across key market locations. Cultivates and manages business relationships, identifies new commercial opportunities, and supports the execution of energy transactions within the broader Commercial organization. Education And Experience
4‑year/Bachelor’s Degree (Required) Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Four (4) or more years experience in asphalt / energy industry (Required) Eight (8) or more years Experience in a related field (Required) No licensure or certification required. Job Requirements
Expert knowledge of energy, construction, paving, and roofing in North America. Oversees and maintains commercial business relationships with existing customers, prospects new customer accounts, and develops new business within existing customer relationships. Reviews and creates strategies to grow market share and commercial value by analyzing market dynamics and competitive offerings, enabling programs that capitalize on emerging opportunities in both new and existing markets. Collaborates with other commercial teams to enhance Delek’s point of view and operational strategies, contributing to broader company goals and initiatives. Possess foundational understanding of asphalt, roofing & industrial, sales strategies, logistics operations, and process improvement methodologies to ensure the organization can achieve its strategic financial objectives. Supports the growth of Asphalt (paving, roofing & industrial) and service sales by identifying prospects, building relationships, and providing excellent customer service. Leads sales and marketing initiatives, program execution, and promotes new product offerings. Negotiates short‑ and long‑term commercial deals to drive business growth and support strategic development initiatives. Analyzes market intelligence and develops recommendations to benefit decision making for executive leadership. Leads and implements improvements in Delek’s commercial processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in marketing and asset management. Reviews competitive intelligence for all regions and reports recommendations to leaders. Actively participates in industry associations, conferences, and customer events. Serves as a mentor to less experienced commercial members. Performs other duties as assigned.
