Estimated annual base pay: $26.50 (minimum) – $42.00 (maximum).

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed mechanical drawings using CAD software to meet project specifications and industry standards.

Collaborate closely with engineers and other drafters to ensure design accuracy and address technical requirements.

Revise and update designs based on feedback and changes in project scope to maintain up-to-date documentation.

Adhere to company and regulatory standards in all drafting activities to guarantee quality and consistency.

Identify and resolve common design problems using established procedures and scientific methods to support project objectives.

Key Skills

Computer-aided design (CAD) proficiency: Expert in utilizing CAD software to create and modify detailed mechanical drawings and models.

Technical drawing: Skilled in producing precise and accurate technical schematics and blueprints that adhere to industry standards.

Attention to detail: Meticulous in reviewing and verifying drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.

Mechanical systems knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to drafting tasks.

Problem solving: Capable of identifying design challenges and implementing effective solutions using established methods and procedures.

Analytical skills: Proficient in analyzing design requirements and translating them into functional and efficient technical drawings.

Time management: Efficiently manages workload and prioritizes tasks to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

Standard operating procedures adherence: Consistently follows established protocols and guidelines to maintain quality and consistency in work.

Technical communication: Effectively conveys complex technical information and ideas within the team through clear and concise communication.

Team collaboration: Understands team dynamics and works collaboratively with others to achieve collective objectives and project goals.

Desired Qualifications

Technical associate’s degree

2+ years of experience in a similar field

Experience in Windchill and/or Creo modeling and drafting

This position requires use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
