If you're a master's-level music therapist looking for a short-term work engagement, we'd love to have you!
Whether you're looking for a full caseload or working part-time with however many clients you'd like (Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays available), this short-term (5-6 months) engagement does have the opportunity to become long-term, dependent on funding. Pay is per hour worked, not per clinical hour completed, and starts at $30-32 per hour (depending on experience).
We’re looking for a neuroaffirmative, client-led music therapist. This role would mainly entail working with autistic and neurodivergent children and teens, as well as individuals of all ages with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Sessions predominantly take place in our cozy, well-stocked clinic space at 2906 Beacon Street (alongside a few community-based clients).
Responsibilities
Deliver music therapy sessions to autistic and neurodivergent children and teens, and to individuals of all ages with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Plan and adapt therapeutic interventions in a client-led, neuroaffirmative style. Collaborate with other clinicians and community clients in a well-stocked clinic at 2906 Beacon Street. Work full caseload or part-time (Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays available) for 5–6 months, with possibility of long-term engagement. Qualifications
Master’s level clinician in music therapy (priority). Bachelor’s level applicants accepted at a differentiated pay rate. Experience working with autistic, neurodivergent, and cognitively/physically disabled clients. Familiarity with neuroaffirmative, client-led therapeutic approaches. Availability for 5–6 month short-term engagement, with potential for long-term contract based on funding. Strong communication and collaborative skills. Compensation
Pay $30–$32 per hour, based on experience. Hourly rate applies to hours worked, not per clinical hour completed. Location
2906 Beacon Street, Colorado Springs, CO (clinic space; also community-based clients). Application
Apply via RESONATE MUSIC THERAPY LLC. Referrals increase chances of interview 2x.
