Our client is a Global Entertainment Firm with a very young environment and culture has opened a newly created role on their Accounting Team.
Their team is seeking someone with about 3 years of experience that will report to the Head of Team working along side many internal operational and sales teams.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Month-End close process and booking journal entries supporting banking/corporate accounting team
Post and code all corporate expense transactions including invoices into the accounting software system ensuring careful accuracy and precision
Review all Accounting transactions and invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment received
Update weekly bank reconciliations in a timely and efficient manner
Field corporate expenses inquiries from internal teams and external vendors
File and maintain all paid and unpaid invoices and statements
Provide analytical, administrative, clerical and project support to accounting department and management
Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is a Must; Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance is preferred
2+ years high volume Bank Reconciliations, Expense Accruals, Fixed Assets posting
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Experience with Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Expense Accruals
Must understand GAAP
