About the Role We’re seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Marketing to lead Standard Communities’ marketing and communications efforts nationwide. This role invites an innovative leader who uses imaginative storytelling to enhance our brand, broaden our reach, and effectively share the meaningful results of our efforts. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a proven ability to turn ideas into compelling campaigns that drive engagement and elevate organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Lead Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned with company goals and mission. Brand Management: Oversee brand development and ensure consistent messaging across all channels — digital, print, events, and public relations. Digital & Content Marketing: Direct social media, website, and email marketing campaigns to engage key audiences and expand reach. Creative Leadership: Manage the production of marketing materials, videos, press releases, and presentations that highlight Standard’s projects and impact. Executive Communications: Write, edit, and advise the Co-Founders and Senior Leadership Team on key communications, including speeches, op-eds, thought leadership pieces, and internal messaging. Public Relations & Partnerships: Collaborate with PR firms and external partners to promote company achievements and initiatives. Team Development: Manage and mentor a marketing team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs, analyze marketing performance, and provide actionable insights to improve ROI. Event & Property Marketing: Oversee marketing support for property openings, community events, and corporate initiatives. Crisis & Reputation Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage sensitive communications and protect the company’s reputation. Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with teams across the organization to ensure alignment with the brand and support company-wide initiatives. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 4 to 5 years of progressive marketing experience, and/or 2 years at the Director level. Experience in real estate, property management, or community development is highly preferred. Proven success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns. Strong leadership skills and experience managing internal teams and external creative partners. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication abilities. Proficiency in marketing analytics and tools such as Google Analytics, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
