Baskervill is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design firm with offices in Poland and the United States. We are currently looking for a qualified Plumbing Designer to join our growing team. This position provides the opportunity for you to work on a variety of design projects from Healthcare to Hospitality. Here’s what you’ll be doing: Communicating with project leads to ensure all project requirements and deadlines are met, project status, QA/QC and any other project related items
Designing domestic water systems, drainage systems and gas systems
Analyzing building codes, overseeing the completing of construction documents, and reviewing for compliance
Responding to bidding and permitting inquiries
Preparing and coordinating contract document addenda and revisions
Processing and reviewing RFI’s, shop drawings, submittals and samples
Monitoring progress of contractors and suppliers
Assisting with project close out and critique
Here’s what you’ll need: 8+ years of experience in plumbing design
Higher technical education in Environmental Engineering (Polish license (uprawniwnia budowalne) will be an additional asset)
Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) preferred
Working knowledge of plumbing code/international plumbing code
Ability to design and layout cold and hot water systems, gas piping, waste and vent systems for commercial facilities
Knowledge and ability to perform standard plumbing calculations
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with other disciplines and function in a collaborative environment
Proficiency in Revit, Excel, Word and other Autodesk software
Fluency in spoken and written English
