Marketing Coordinator

As a vital member of the MIEC Marketing team, you will implement dynamic marketing strategies, support campaign development, and bring creative ideas to every initiative—including promotional event planning and logistics, direct mail campaigns, email marketing, digital and print advertising, and social media. By tracking results and developing quality leads across multiple marketing channels, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to grow and succeed. This position plays a critical role in the development and successful execution of MIEC marketing initiatives, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in how we reach new customers and share MIEC’s story.
Location
This position can be hybrid or in-office at our MIEC office located in Oakland, California, with limited travel including overnight stays.
Compensation
Hiring range for San Francisco Bay Area: $35.83/hr to $47.77/hr (based on a 37.5-hour workweek)

What You’ll Do
Collaborate to support marketing projects, coordinate marketing events, optimize targeted email campaigns, and manage company content on our website and other social media platforms.
Coordinate the scheduling, content development, production, and delivery of internal and external editorial publications and advertising campaigns.
Support the development and promotion of digital content assets and webinars, and assist in the production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying, and copy review.
Coordinate with team members to track and manage our marketing database, corporate literature, and promotional items.
Develop and monitor marketing metrics and provide regular analytics reports to enhance engagement, maximize ROI, and track campaign performance.
Requirements
Enthusiastic and self‑directed contributor skilled at managing multiple priorities with great attention to detail and time‑sensitive deadlines.
Flexible collaborator who demonstrates a customer service focus with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong communicator with excellent written and editing skills; capable of delivering presentations in various formats.
Organized planner with a solid understanding of marketing project planning and coordination, skilled in gathering, interpreting, and applying data to support strategy development.
Motivated self‑starter with knowledge of relevant social media platforms, digital campaign planning and implementation, and printing and production methods.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field preferred.
Licenses
A valid driver’s license is required.
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years in supporting marketing operations with a corporation, nonprofit, or public relations firm (extra points for medical malpractice insurance industry experience).
Experience building out and implementing internal marketing support processes, including requests for assistance and metric measurements.
One (1) year of experience in general marketing strategy and execution across traditional marketing, digital marketing, SEO, PPC advertising, and/or social media.
An understanding of professional liability insurance is preferred.
Digital Skillsets
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and CoPilot.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Small Business Advertising, LinkedIn Advertising, etc.
Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.
