The Opportunity:
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Business Process Owner in Claims User Experience Optimization. This role offers a flexible work environment, requiring the individual to work in-office 4 days per week. You can be based in any of the following locations: San Antonio, TX; Plano, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO; Chesapeake, VA; or Tampa, FL. Note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What You'll Do:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for complex processes including problem definition, requirements evaluation, design, testing, and implementation of business processes.
- Understand operating objectives, business rules, performance requirements, risks, and controls to minimize failures and maximize process efficiency.
- Support the alignment of processes to overall experience strategy and vision.
- Develop and implement strategic, customer-specific business process programs aligned with enterprise goals.
- Utilize expert knowledge to enhance business deliverables and capabilities to improve performance.
- Manage process performance through key performance indicators and inform stakeholders of any deficiencies or risks.
- Identify and align controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks.
- Create communication plans for internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring proactive engagement.
- Leverage reporting and analytics to measure process and project performance, driving operational efficiencies.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Mentor team members and business partners in process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze data to inform business decisions and enhance claims processes.
What You Have:
- Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- 6 years of experience in business process execution, consulting, or process optimization.
- Proven application of quality management, process improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with process mapping, modeling, and documentation validation.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean, Business Process Management, or similar methodologies.
- Adept in utilizing various systems for data analysis.
What Sets You Apart:
- Deep understanding of P&C Claims processes.
- 2+ years of managerial experience in Claims Operations.
- Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and core insurance systems.
- Proficient in managing complex projects with significant business impacts.
- Strong skills in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to translate complex problems into actionable insights.
- Experience with evaluating tech opportunities and implementing solutions.
- Proficiency in using data analytics to support business decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving large initiatives.
- Familiarity with Safe Agile methodologies.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $93,770 - $179,240, based on experience and market data. Employees may also qualify for pay incentives based on individual and corporate performance.
