# Studio Manager11/04/2025DescriptionA Gladstone artist operating in New York, New York is currently seeking a highlyorganized, motivated, capable, proactive Studio Manager to provide high-level administrative support and project coordination. This role requires someone who is an excellent communicator and comfortable working within a creative and fast-paced environment. This role offers hands-on experience across a range of major artistic projects and exhibitions and direct collaboration with a wide variety of global institutions and creative partners.Key Responsibilities:* High-level administrative and operational support; smooth daily function of the studio and of the artist’s professional affairs across time zones* Communicate with galleries, museums, fabricators, and external partners on the artist’s behalf to develop projects and meet key deadlines* Track ongoing exhibitions, installations, and production timelines* Support planning and execution of studio visits, site visits, and meetings* Prepare notes and follow-ups for meetings, studio visits, and calls* Assist with production documents, presentation decks, and basic renderings* Coordinate shipping and installation logistics as needed* Organize and maintain digital and physical files, including project documentation and archive* Manage contacts, contracts, and records with impeccable attention to detail* Personal assistance tasks include calendar management, correspondence management, organizing travel arrangements and itineraries for domestic and international engagements, and running errands as neededQualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in Art, Art History, Design, Architecture, Arts Administration, or a related field is preferred* 3+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Project Coordinator, or Studio Assistant role is preferred* Proficiency in Google Workspace; working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or SketchUp is preferred* Passion for contemporary art and an understanding of the art world ecosystem* Exceptional organizational and time management skills* Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to represent the artist professionally* Calm under pressure and able to manage shifting priorities with minimal oversight, grace, and discretion* Flexible availability to work part-time hours which vary week by week depending on ongoing projects, the artist’s travel schedule, and other factors.How to applyTo apply, please email your resume and a short cover letter to rgriswold@gladstonegallery.com.
