Assistant Community Manager

Join Yarco Property Management as an Assistant Community Manager. The role supports the Community Manager in achieving operational, financial, and resident service excellence across our full‑service, multi‑family real estate firm focused on affordable housing.

Key Contributions

  • Financial: Assist in meeting budget goals by achieving occupancy and rental rate objectives, controlling expenses through inventory control, reporting accurate payroll, and collecting revenue.
  • Management & Recruiting: Support community staff hiring, interview on‑site employees, and promote teamwork to achieve common goals.
  • Property Appearance: Maintain the property’s neat, clean, and well‑maintained condition through daily exterior and interior inspections.
  • Customer Service: Ensure resident satisfaction, address resident complaints, and manage accurate preparation and processing of leasing forms, maintenance orders, rent collection, and company reporting.
  • Other duties as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: One plus year of residential management or customer service experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Physical & Cognitive: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Driver requirements (if applicable): Valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record, reliable transportation, insurable at standard rates, and proof of personal auto liability insurance when using company vehicles.
  • Background investigation and drug screen required for hiring.
