Base pay range
$65,500.00/yr - $98,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally or in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates.
- Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training to achieve facility goals.
- Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll.
- Execute and refine recruiting and staffing initiatives, researching and addressing employment‑related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers.
- Ensure compliance with company HR policies by reviewing and managing the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents.
- Assist in implementation and ensuring compliance with HR systems and applications, and research to gather data for HR related issues.
- Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures, monitoring compliance, distributing and maintaining procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns, provide corrective action or make recommendations to resolve issues.
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling policies, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation.
- Manage and coordinate training initiatives such as new hire orientation, CBL modules, web‑based training, and virtual classroom for Distribution and/or Transportation associates.
- Monitor completion of training curricula, present and facilitate training courses, monitor schedules, and ensure compliance for multiple training activities.
- Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals, building accountability and measuring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Promote a workplace culture of belonging, respect each individual, build high‑performing teams, encourage diversity, and provide supervision and recognition.
- Implement action plans supporting company policies through the Open Door Policy and embody Walmart values of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
- Serve customers and members by delivering results, putting the customer first, and balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement adopting and encouraging new technologies, skills, and change.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR
- 2 years of Walmart Logistics management experience OR
- 2 years of supervisory experience, including 1 year managing human resource processes OR
- 1 year of Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
