Transdermal / Oral Thin-film Formulation Scientist

Role Description
We are seeking a full‑time Transdermal/Oral Thin‑film Formulation Scientist to join our on‑site team in NJ and/or Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing transdermal and oral thin‑film drug formulations. Key responsibilities include conducting laboratory experiments, supporting research initiatives, and participating in scaling up processes for technology transfer. You will work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to advance formulation projects from concept to production‑ready status while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Laboratory Skills with hands‑on experience in preparation, analysis, and testing of pharmaceutical formulations
- Expertise in Research and Development (R&D), including problem‑solving and innovating formulation technologies
- Proficiency in Formulation and Research methodologies, particularly for transdermal and oral thin‑film delivery systems. Basic analytical R&D capabilities especially use of HPLC is a plus
- Knowledge and experience with Technology Transfer, supporting scale‑up processes, and production protocols
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines for pharmaceutical product development
- A degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to work independently, and collaboratively, in an on‑site, fast‑paced, and scientifically driven environment
- Three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience preferred
