CR/DR Level II Radiographer – Temporary & Full‑Time – MISTRAS Group, Inc. Central Laboratory, Heath, OH.

Applicants Must Provide The Following Documents

  • High School Diploma/GED/Degree
  • Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT
  • Previous Level II certifications/OJT

Major Responsibilities / Activities

  • Set up and calibrate equipment.
  • Conduct tests with appropriate NDT techniques.
  • Interpret, evaluate and document results.
  • Thoroughly understand the scope, limitations, and standards of the method; be capable of directing Level I personnel and trainees.
  • Maintain familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and contractual documents.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Obtain and analyze information skillfully.
  • Edit and present numerical data effectively.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT‑TC1A for at least one of: UT, RT, MT, or PT.
  • Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one year experience, or prior Level I with sufficient field experience to certify to Level II per SNT‑TC1A on one of: UT, RT, MT, or PT.
  • Industrial Radiographers Certification Card (preferred; required for hired Radiographers).
  • Completion of a 40‑hour Radiation Safety Course (preferred; required for hired Radiographers).

Working Conditions

  • Field duties in outdoor plant environments.
  • Interaction with crew, supervisors and clients.
  • Work near production machinery with extreme noise levels.
  • Physically fit; able to carry 50 lbs frequently.
  • Must wear required safety equipment.
  • May be at more than one jobsite in a day; tolerant of climate changes.
  • Periodic travel outside town may be required.

Essential Physical Functions

  • Frequently lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Clear speech and hearing (reasonable accommodation as needed).

  • Mobility and reflexes to perform duties and travel off‑site.
