Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage – Smithsonian Folkways Recordings

Smithsonian Folkways Recordings seeks a part‑time contractor to provide professional, non‑personal services in graphic design. The purpose of this contract is to procure a graphic designer to assist with day‑to‑day operations related to the design of Smithsonian Folkways Recordings album artwork and print layouts. Duties will include graphic design and design consultation, scanning, editing and recreating artwork, advising on printing hardware, techniques, and best practices.

We anticipate that this project will require approximately 1,300 hours over the course of 1 year, with the option to extend for an additional year.
