We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Piping Designer with strong technical expertise in piping design, modeling, and drafting for industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of hands-on experience in piping design and a strong understanding of design workflows from field verification to fabrication and planning. This role requires proficiency in CADWorx or equivalent piping design software, along with the ability and willingness to learn and work with Plant 3D and other modern design tools. Key Responsibilities Piping Design & Modeling Develop, model, and design piping systems using CADWorx or equivalent design software . Perform detailed piping layouts, equipment modeling, and isometric drawings. Create accurate 3D models to support engineering, planning, fabrication, and construction teams. Conduct drafting and detailing tasks as required to ensure high-quality deliverables. Field Verification & Job Walks Perform on-site job walks to verify as-found conditions and gather dimensions and field data. Identify design constraints, conflicts, and opportunities for optimization during field visits. Ensure that all field measurements and observations are accurately incorporated into the design model. Design Coordination Work closely with engineering, construction, and fabrication teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability. Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs to ensure project compliance with standards and codes. Support project planning activities through accurate modeling and design documentation. Software & Technical Skills Utilize CADWorx or similar piping design software for modeling and drafting. Learn and become proficient in Plant 3D and additional design platforms as required. Ensure all drawings and models are produced following project standards, procedures, and quality guidelines. Qualifications & Experience 20+ years of experience in piping design, modeling, and drafting in industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or related environments. Strong expertise in CADWorx , or any equivalent piping design tool. Willingness and ability to learn Plant 3D and adapt to evolving design software. Solid understanding of piping design principles, codes, and industry standards. Experience in performing field job walks and verifying as-found conditions. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, and fabrication details. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in design and documentation. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Preferred Attributes Familiarity with modern 3D design environments and project execution workflows. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to design challenges.
