Join our Customer Identity team to define and execute go-to-market strategies for Okta’s Customer Identity, enabling IT and security teams to create seamless and secure digital experiences.
The Opportunity This role drives business and go-to-market activities to support rapid growth of Okta’s Customer Identity. Responsibilities include creating compelling messaging and positioning, launching new features, enabling the field, and partnering with corporate marketing.
What You’ll Be Doing
Craft and execute product messaging and positioning strategies that clearly articulate the value of Okta Customer Identity to technical and business stakeholders.
Champion product positioning, strategic technology and channel partner engagement, customer engagement, validate market messaging and evangelize within and outside the organization.
Collaborate with Product Management to align on product vision and lead high-impact product/feature launches with end‑to‑end go‑to‑market planning and execution.
Champion the voice of the customer by engaging in regular conversations and validating messaging through ongoing feedback.
Partner with Sales and Enablement teams to develop content and tools that support the full sales cycle—including product demos, sales training, and technical content.
Work closely with campaign teams to deliver high‑performing, data‑driven programs across digital and field marketing channels.
Stay ahead of industry trends and maintain deep knowledge of the CIAM landscape, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
3+ years of solutions marketing or product marketing experience, preferably in security or SaaS‑focused technology.
Proven track record of marketing to a highly technical audience and communicating with technical buyers within enterprises.
Proven ability to create product and/or solutions‑specific messaging and content.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Project management skills to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Established ability to drive programs from initiation to success.
Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
Additional Credit
Familiarity with CIAM use cases or experience in the security industry.
Comfortable marketing to a mix of IT, marketing, and technical audiences.
Compensation & Benefits Annual OTE (On Target Earnings)
for California (excluding SF Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington: $126,000 – $188,000 USD.
Annual OTE for Canada:
$99,000 – $149,000 CAD.
