We also own and operate event properties across the professional and collegiate sports landscape, focused on sports including basketball, football, golf, pickleball, and volleyball.
The Position tersport is seeking to add a smart and driven Manager, Social Media to its Production team.
The Manager, Social Media will be the primary driver of audience growth and sponsor fulfillment across all digital platforms for select Intersport properties. This role is highly specialized, focusing on repurposing long‑form content into high‑impact, platform‑native short‑form video clips (e.g. reels, shorts, TikTok) to maximize viewership, engagement, and sponsored impression delivery.

Work effectively with cross‑functional teams to deliver executional excellence
Content Adaptation and Execution
High‑Volume Clipping: manage the process of reviewing long‑form video episodes (e.g. vodcasts, premium interviews, live sports events) to identify the most compelling, high‑engagement moments for vertical video repurposing; the target volume is 120+ micro‑clips per month for the "Coach to Coach" property alone
Platform‑Native Editing: edit and format video clips using short‑form video best practices (e.g. adding on‑screen captions/subtitles, engaging hooks, appropriate music/sound effects, and rapid pacing) specific to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Metadata and Optimization: write platform‑specific copy, select appropriate hashtags, keywords, and cover imagery to optimize organic reach and searchability across all channel
Cross‑Promotion: develop and execute a cross‑platform content strategy, using properties across the Intersport portfolio to promote Intersport’s digital programming and vice versa
Monetization and Sponsorship Fulfillment
Sponsor Integration: oversee the flawless execution of sponsor social deliverables (e.g. video pre‑roll, logos, tags, etc.) and ensure they are correctly implemented on all monetized clips
Tagging and Compliance: accurately apply necessary sponsor tags, hashtags, and disclosures (e.g. #Ad, #Sponsor) and manage the tagging of show guests and associated brands/teams
Impression Tracking: collaborate with the Producer and Sales teams to track and report on social impressions delivered against sponsorship guarantees, providing reporting updates weekly
Strategy and Analytics
Platform Strategy: develop and maintain a current understanding of algorithm shifts and new features across key platforms (e.g. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn) to continuously adjust content strategy for maximum performance
Performance Reporting: use social analytics tools (e.g. YouTube Studio, native platform analytics, third‑party trackers) to analyze clip performance, identify successful content themes, and report on audience growth, engagement rates, and completion rates
Community Management: engage with the audience by monitoring comments and messages to build community and identify opportunities for show content development
Salary and Benefits The targeted salary range for this position is $68,000 to $75,000, depending on full‑time, non‑internship professional relevant experience.
This position includes medical, dental, vision, parental leave benefits and 401(k) with company match for qualified employees. This position does not include bonuses, commissions, or other incentives.
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years professional experience managing social media and content for a major media company, entertainment studio, or well‑established podcast/video network
Video Editing Proficiency: demonstrated, high‑level skill in rapid video editing, specifically for vertical formats, using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut
Platform Mastery: deep, demonstrable knowledge of best practices, monetization mechanics, and organic growth strategies for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels
Editorial and Brand Voice: ability to quickly understand and execute content that aligns with Intersport and a sponsor’s brand identity
Data‑Driven: proven ability to use performance metrics to inform and optimize content strategy
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple programs/projects concurrently, inclusive of a detail‑oriented and organized approach
Application of superior prioritization and time‑management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive, team player with a strong work ethic
