Marketing Analyst, Business Development, NA Fintech and Digital Partnerships The Marketing Analyst, Business Development, is a member of the NA Marketing Services Team, which is transforming how we partner with clients to drive engagement through a proactive and results‑driven marketing approach. The Analyst will support the development and sell‑in of client programs that optimize the use of Visa marketing platforms and initiatives for Visa’s Fintech and Digital Partnerships clients in North America. Responsibilities include prospecting, pricing, contracting, and selling marketing solutions, while engaging with teams across Visa and clients to assist with delivering thought‑leadership advisory services and planning marketing programs that grow client businesses and drive incremental revenue for both Visa and its clients.

Essential Functions

Support client relationship and business development for Big Tech and Global accounts, and participate in ideation of marketing programs which may include marketing research & insights, marketing strategy, creative development, channel delivery and Visa sponsorships.

Manage the day‑to‑day prioritization of work across multiple projects, deliverables and stakeholders; develop and manage project plans, agency briefings, third‑party vendor relationships, creative development, client/legal review process, project timelines and budget tracking.

Work cross‑functionally to support the sell‑in and implementation of marketing programs that leverage Visa resources and expertise; key stakeholders include Account Sales Team, Consulting & Analytics, Product Marketing, Research and Insights, Brand, Product, Communications, Digital Media and Legal.

Assist with internal Visa processes to support the implementation of marketing projects including business development pipeline tracking, project pricing reviews/approvals, agency/client SOWs, vendor invoicing and project revenue recognition.

Manage ad‑hoc requests from key stakeholders, e.g., clients, Visa senior leadership, etc.

Basic Qualifications

2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).

Preferred Qualifications

3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).

General knowledge and basic understanding of marketing principles and campaign management.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, highly matrixed environment and be results‑oriented, flexible, and possess a “can‑do”, positive attitude.

Experience working with and/or managing creative agencies.

Experience successfully prioritizing and managing multiple projects/deliverables.

Capable of working cross‑functionally to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.

Ability to self‑manage and support multiple projects, as needed.

Employs sound judgment and rationale when problem solving and making decisions.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong written and in‑person communication skills.

Strong project management skills.

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point and Word.

Relevant marketing experience includes marketing, consulting or agency roles that involved project management, marketing or business strategy, product launches or planning.

Relevant industry experience includes fintech, financial services, payments, and/or consulting.

Strong executive presence and comfort leading discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills and comfort with numbers.

Experience coordinating cross‑functional, end‑to‑end projects that included a high level of detail and ability to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.

Self‑motivated and proactive in asking questions / proposing solutions.

Prior experience in managing client accounts and driving business development.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5–10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The incumbent will sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

Hybrid: The Analyst will work in the office on days as confirmed by the hiring manager.

Salary and Benefits

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $109,700.00 to $155,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
