WSP USA’s Strategic Growth Team is seeking a full‑time
Marketing Coordinator
to support marketing activities across major infrastructure markets. The role is offered through the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program, allowing active‑duty service members to transition to civilian life while gaining marketable skills in engineering, science, technology, environmental services, and business operations.
The position is hybrid, with work possible remotely or in office at
Phoenix ,
Tucson, AZ ,
Denver, CO ,
Albuquerque, NM , or
Salt Lake City, UT .
Key Responsibilities
Develop and write content for WSP proposals and marketing deliverables.
Provide layout and design for proposals and collateral using templates or collaboration with graphic designers.
Author proposal content, conveying technical information simply while telling WSP’s story.
Proofread and edit proposals and other marketing collateral.
Gather information through research, statistical reports, and interviews with technical staff.
Leverage firm resources to support all stages of pursuit and differentiate WSP to clients.
Work with pursuit teams to develop differentiators, value propositions, and key messages.
Apply new technologies and innovations, including creative media approaches and digital tools.
Support the proposal development and delivery team, ensuring compliance, readability, quality, and effective sales messaging.
Travel: 25%.

Minimum Requirements
Open to active‑duty members with a background in technical fields.
Authorization and approval from a unit commander to participate in the SkillBridge program.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in a related field.
Ability to write compelling content under tight deadlines.
Understanding of journalistic writing styles, including the inverted pyramid approach.
Familiarity with style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago) and brand guidelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, marketing strategy development, group facilitation, and teamwork skills.
Strategic mindset and sound judgment.
Builds trust and influences others, working with all levels of staff.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications‑related software.
Compensation
SkillBridge Internship Period: Participants continue to receive active‑duty pay and benefits through the Department of Defense. No separate compensation is provided during this period.
Unpaid Internship: $0.00 – $0.00.
