Entry-Level Marketing & Graphic Designer
Location: Beaverton, OR | Position Type: Full-Time | Hybrid role blends creativity, strategy, and on-the-ground brand engagement.
Position Overview The ideal candidate will support marketing initiatives through graphic design, content creation, and fieldwork. You’ll help bring new products to market, promote them through social media and events, and ensure brand consistency across all touch points.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design:
Create digital and print materials such as social media graphics, product labels, marketing collateral, and event signage.
Maintain brand guidelines across all visual content.
Marketing & Brand Development:
Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for product launches.
Design packaging concepts and promotional assets.
Field Marketing & Research:
Visit dispensaries and cannabis events to gather consumer and retailer feedback.
Conduct competitor and market research to help identify new opportunities and trends.
Support vendor days and brand pop-ups by representing the company and educating customers about our products.
Social Media Management:
Help plan, create, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms.
Track engagement and support influencer and community outreach efforts.
Event Support:
Participate in dispensary vendor days, trade shows, and community events.
Assist with event setup, photography, and real-time content capture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and Excel.
Strong visual eye and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for cannabis culture, design, and brand storytelling.
Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the cannabis industry in Oregon.
Preferred Skills
Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite).
Photography or videography skills a plus.
Understanding of cannabis compliance and branding regulations.
