IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE :
Work with product technologies such as DeltaV, DeltaV SIS, PLCs, other third‑party devices, and supervise others to produce cabinet / panel designs, installation details, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, conduit / cable routing, power / grounding design, and related control system / electrical drawings.
Work with the customer as the lead control systems person responsible for technical project scope.
Define and develop estimates, project schedules, and construction scope of work documents.
Manage budgets and track project schedule and progress.
Develop and evaluate bid packages for I&E construction, panels, cabinets, and control systems / electrical equipment.
Perform field walkdowns and supervise designers to survey existing instrumentation / electrical equipment, instrument wiring, cable / conduit routing, control rooms, rack rooms, and any related control systems / electrical items.
Participate in the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, loop checks, and cutover or start‑up at customer sites.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED :
6 years' experience designing and implementing cabinet / panel designs, wiring diagrams, loop drawings and other deliverables typical for control systems projects in the refining, petrochemical, specialty chemicals or other industries.
1 year experience with supervising and directing designers in the execution of projects, design processes and procedures.
Experience implementing and managing automation design for modernization projects and execution of front‑end (FEED) studies.
Knowledge and application of industry codes and standards (e.g. ISA, NEC).
Experience with computer‑aided design tools (AutoCAD and / or MicroStation) and MS Office application suite.
Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically.
Must be comfortable in plant sites, and possess the ability to navigate staircases, ladders, scaffolding, and catwalks.
Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART
Associate's Degree in a technical field of study.
Experience implementing automation design for grassroots projects.
Experience with instrumentation, including transmitters, analyzers, control valves, and on‑off valves.
