Position Summary The Cisco VoIP Technician provides first and second level technical support and troubleshooting of Valley Health's Cisco VoIP infrastructure. This role involves diagnosing and resolving basic issues related to Cisco VoIP phones, call processing system, and associated network infrastructure to maintain seamless communication services.

Education High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience 5+ years of enterprise level experience working on and troubleshooting CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX, RTMT, voice gateways, and Cisco IP endpoints. Experience in a health care environment preferred.

Skills

Basic understanding of Cisco VoIP solutions, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection (CUC), Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), Webex, Cisco IP phones, and Cisco gateways.

Knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, RTP, and related network concepts (DHCP, VLAN, QoS).

Familiarity with Cisco networking fundamentals and troubleshooting techniques.

Experience working with Telecommunication carriers and using enterprise vendor administration portals.

Strong critical thinking skills and customer service orientation.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

Current and valid New Jersey Driver's License and must adhere to all procedural guidelines in HR Policy 1-13 including demonstrating an acceptable driving record for the duration of their employment as long as driving continues to be a responsibility of the job.

Pay Range: $34.81 - $43.51 (per hour)
