Sr. Manager, Project Management - Card Performance Marketing & Analytics (Hybrid)
As a Senior Manager Project Manager at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute high priority projects that directly impact the company’s bottom line. You will work with smart, passionate people to deliver results, managing stakeholder expectations while maintaining delivery momentum. From day one you will lead a team of Project Managers and collaborate across the Card Business, Marketing, Technology, Platforms, Legal, Risk, Design, Content Marketing, and Brand Creative teams to rethink processes, automate workflows, and optimize marketing performance.
Role Responsibilities
Lead a team of Project Managers.
Reimagine the intent management process for intake, prioritization, and communication of work with partners.
Work closely with the Card Site team and key stakeholders across multiple business units to refine and deliver intent that supports organizational goals.
Oversee the creative development process for the Outbound Marketing team and the article development pipeline, seeking ways to produce high‑quality assets more quickly.
Monitor influencer/creator usage and manage rights.
Ensure marketing channels are well‑managed, documenting key artifacts and identifying process optimizations.
Oversee the monthly budgeting process and platform access for all marketing channels.
Inform requirements for enterprise solutions such as digital asset management and compliance review tools.
Constantly seek new tools to automate manual processes.
Act as a self‑starter with strong organizational skills, ownership mentality, and the ability to prioritize workloads while learning new digital marketing and project management technology quickly.

Demonstrate proven project‑management experience, quickly establishing structure in a dynamic environment.

Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs, providing strategic direction.
Design, develop, and manage project plans, revising them as requirements change.
Ensure projects are documented to mitigate risk and delivered on time.
Leverage problem‑solving and influencing skills to ensure plans deliver intent.
Partner cross‑functionally with project customers, offering strategic and tactical partnership.
Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
At least 5 years of Project Management experience, 3 of which involve delivering Horizontal objectives and improvements.
At least 4 years of People Management experience.
At least 3 years of multi‑channel digital marketing experience on client‑side or agency.
At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite (Sheets and Slides) or Microsoft (Excel and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree or MBA.
6+ years of Project Management experience.
5+ years of experience managing creative processes and partnering with creative teams.
5+ years of People Management experience.
3+ years of experience leading cross‑functional teams.
3+ years of experience in Process Management.
Certifications such as PMP, Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, or Business Process Management.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based on the agreed number of hours.

$170,800 – $194,900 Richmond, VA:
$155,300 – $177,200
