Event Sales & Marketing Agent – Sacramento County – $19.90/hr + commission + Training Pay*
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our award‑winning sales and marketing team at Hyatt Vacation Club®. The Event Sales & Marketing Agent will promote the Hyatt Vacation Club® Program by offering guests financial incentives in exchange for learning about our points‑based ownership product.
Base Pay:
$19.90/hr + commission + up to $450/week additional training pay* for the first 10 weeks only. Annual pay range reasonably expected $21,000–$76,600.
Schedule:
Part‑time, 3–4 days per week. Must be available to attend events throughout Sacramento County, including afternoon, night, and weekend availability.
Responsibilities
Schedule and deliver sales presentations or offer specially priced vacation packages at events and off‑site locations such as shopping malls and airports.
Provide the highest level of service to exceed budgeted sales presentations and volume production goals.
Verify that guests meet eligibility requirements and are open to learning more about products and services.
Welcome and greet guests; anticipate and address their needs.
Interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
Contribute to team goals and always follow company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Highly motivated with sales or customer service experience; enjoy interacting with guests in person or by phone.
Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
Telemarketing and/or sales experience preferred.
Position may require background and drug screening in accordance with state and local requirements.
Physical ability to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
