Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist is a key contributor within Erlanger's internal marketing team, operating as an agile, high‑performing strategic partner. This role offers growth‑minded professionals deep exposure to service line marketing, campaign execution, and healthcare communications while supporting senior‑level strategists in achieving business outcomes.
Responsibilities Campaign & Project Implementation
Support assigned Marketing Strategists in executing multichannel campaigns, promotions, and service line initiatives.
Coordinate timelines, track tasks, and follow up with internal and external partners to ensure progress and accountability.
Manage and maintain campaign planning documents, creative trackers, and internal reporting templates.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Interface with the Creative, Digital/Web, and Communications teams to assist in routing assets, collecting feedback, and coordinating timelines.
Serve as a reliable point of contact between strategists and functional partners to keep projects moving efficiently.
Communicate needs clearly and respectfully across departments, with a focus on shared success and transparency.
Tactical Marketing Support
Contribute to the preparation of creative briefs, digital content calendars, and internal presentations.
Assist in the review and proofing of marketing materials, digital content, and social media assets.
Help manage service line marketing pages, digital listings, and internal communications updates as directed.
Learning & Professional Development
Build foundational knowledge of healthcare marketing, service line strategy, digital engagement, and brand stewardship.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and marketing workshops to deepen strategic understanding.
Demonstrate initiative and pursue mentorship and feedback with an eye toward long‑term advancement.
Rural Market Marketing and Business Development Specialist Role In addition to all responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist, this role dedicates approximately 50% of its time to business development functions in partnership with Erlanger's Business Development department, focusing on physician relations, referral development, and service line expansion.
Qualifications Education
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
Preferred:
None specified.
Experience
Required:
1‑3 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or healthcare communications (internships considered).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and basic marketing software.
