Senior Data Visualization Expert, Assistant Vice President Who We Are Looking For

The Senior Data Visualization Expert is a hands‑on role within the Data and Analytics team. The successful candidate must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau, with a proven record delivering advanced visualization solutions across multiple, simultaneous initiatives.

Preferred Job Location

Princeton, NJ (hybrid model: 3–4 days onsite, 1–2 days remote). Alternative locations: Clifton, NJ; Stamford, CT; Boston, MA.

Why this role is important The Corporate Audit Data and Analytics team is pivotal to our digital transformation, enabling enhanced risk and assurance insights.

As a Senior Data Visualization Expert, you will

Determine visualization requirements, including data transformation, wireframing, and interactive PoC’s for continuous risk monitoring and key performance/risk indicators.

Create impactful metrics, innovative data‑driven storylines, and compelling dashboards/presentations to deliver actionable insights.

Communicate design decisions clearly to business teams and deliver products within agreed timelines.

Leverage visualization best practices and serve as a subject‑matter expert, maintaining industry‑leading dashboard design standards.

Configure and maintain multiple data‑source connections in Tableau, including Databricks, AWS, SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, and Tableau Server.

Experience and Education

Advanced proficiency in Tableau, SQL, and Python.

5+ years of experience creating solutions using Tableau.

Experience querying and acquiring data with SQL in an RDBMS or big‑data environment.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience at a financial services company or in a risk/control function (plus).

Tableau Server experience (setup and maintenance) (plus).

Experience with cloud analytics platforms (AWS, Databricks, Azure, Snowflake) (plus).

Exposure to AI and automation such as text mining, machine learning (plus).

Skills and Competencies

Curious, analytical mindset with strong project‑management skills and cross‑functional influence.

Advanced command of English; strong written, verbal, presentation, and technical writing skills.

Base salary range:

$90,000 – $150,000 USD annual (primary location).

Salary Range:

This range applies to the primary location. If the candidate works outside this location, the applicable range may differ.
