Position Summary
Ready to turn concepts into captivating copy? Spicer Group is seeking a talented Copywriter/Creative Writer to join our team in a full‑time role. The Marketing Copywriter will develop compelling, clear, and engaging content that aligns with the company’s brand across newsletters, websites, social media, email campaigns, brochures, proposals, and other marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
Writes and edits marketing and communications content for a wide range of media, including newsletters, website content, blog articles, social media posts, award submissions, internal communications, proposals, brochures, and marketing videos.
Assists in developing messaging strategies that align with brand voice and project goals.
Conducts interviews with subject matter experts (Engineers, Surveyors, Project Managers, etc.) to inform content.
Supports storytelling and content development for project case studies.
Collaborates closely with Graphic Designers, Marketing Coordinators, and technical staff to develop cohesive deliverables.
Helps maintain and updates content calendars.
Performs copy edits and proofreading for accuracy, tone, and grammar.
Stays current on industry trends and writing best practices.
Takes photos of active and completed projects as well as internal events for marketing materials.
Physical presence is an essential function of this role. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility does not preclude assigning duties not listed herein if such duties and responsibilities are a logical assignment to the position. Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Creative Writing, Journalism, Marketing, Language Arts, or a related field.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to distill complex, technical information into clear, engaging content.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Familiarity with AP style and/or technical writing style guides.
Preferred Experience
1–5 years of experience in Marketing or Communications‑related fields.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Squarespace.
