As the Senior Graphic Designer, the individual will support the development and production of federal government proposals as well as business development and marketing materials. In this role, the Senior Graphic Designer will have a combination of strong visual communication skills with an understanding of the federal proposal process, including RFP responses, technical volumes, and executive presentations. Additionally, the individual will be a creative professional who can translate complex technical and management concepts into clear, compelling, and compliant visual solutions that enhance the overall quality and persuasiveness of our company's submissions.
Must be able to travel to Manassas, VA 10% per year.
Responsibilities
Designs visually engaging and compliant layouts for federal RFP responses, including technical, management, and past performance volumes
Collaborates with proposal managers, writers, subject matter experts, and capture teams to conceptualize and produce high-impact visuals
Develops infographics, process diagrams, data visualizations, and conceptual graphics that clarify complex information
Ensures consistency with corporate branding and RFP requirements
Designs PowerPoint presentations, marketing collateral, and executive summaries to support capture and business development efforts
Maintains and enforces corporate brand standards, templates, and design guidelines
Manages multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines in a fast-paced proposal environment
Supports color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold) by refining design and layout based on team feedback
Provides graphic design ideas, suggestions and recommendations to management
Performs other tasks as required by the OSC office
Required Qualifications/Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Must be able to maintain a Federal Clearance
7 or more years of professional experience in graphic design
A minimum of 3 years supporting federal proposals or government contracting environments
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of federal proposal formatting, compliance, and layout standards.
Proven ability to translate technical content into compelling visual concepts.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven, high-volume work environment.
Must possess the ability to design visually appealing and compliant proposal graphics and layouts.
Possess exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications/Education And Experience
Experience with Shipley proposal process or similar business development frameworks.
Familiarity with SharePoint, proposal automation tools, or content management systems.
Prior experience supporting federal, intelligence or civilain agency proposals.
