BMA is seeking a goal-oriented Architectural Designer I for our growing Houston office. This team member will be responsible for coordination, design, and execution of various project types such as office, hospitality, health care, and health science facilities.
Responsibilities
Coordinate project design, develop creative design concepts for projects, and prepare design presentations
Develop design and construction documents on projects of various size and complexity
Work both independently and in a team environment
Coordinate with consulting engineers and other design professionals
Often interface with clients on small projects
Assist with contract administration responsibilities
Qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program
3-5 years of experience
Licensed or actively pursuing licensure
Knowledge of basic codes and the principles of architectural practice
Proficient in the use of Revit software
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Thrives in diverse and excellence-oriented environment
Capable of understanding and solving complex project challenges
Seeks knowledge, growth, and experience
