Responsibilities
Coordinate project logistics from procurement through installation
Create purchase orders for all client‑approved and specified items
Place orders with vendors using purchase orders and coordinate payment
Track all orders and manage lead times in accordance with installation date
Coordinate freight, delivery, and storage
Arrange pickups and deliveries prior to installation
Maintain storage inventories
Acquire Principal’s approval on images of completed work prior to shipment
Work with storage companies and receivers to ensure products are received as ordered and undamaged
Create installation timelines and schedules
Organize vendors, deliveries, and oversee all deliverable items during installation
Create work orders for all specified furnishings in coordination with the Principal, acquire approval prior to issuance, and maintain positive relationships with all workrooms
Maintain client files and materials in a precise fashion
Communicate effectively with Principal and vendors (essential)
Job Requirements
Must be based in Birmingham, Alabama or willing to move there
Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education
Must have 2 years of experience in the interior design field OR a BA in interior design
Fully able to work in the US with a valid driver’s license
Knowledge of Studio Designer is a plus, but not required
CAD required
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workflow, and meet multiple deadlines
Self‑sufficient, detail oriented, organized, proactive problem‑solver, team player and good communicator
