The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer services engaging clients at both showroom locations – Graber Rd – Middleton and Haase Rd – East Madison. Position Description As Our Valued Showroom Coordinator, you’ll be working at our Middleton, WI showroom alongside a team of sales and design professionals. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service. You’re the first person that customers see when they walk into the showroom, so your friendliness and the ability to make an inviting professional atmosphere makes all the difference!
Daily Activities
Start the day by ensuring the front desk is nice and neat, checking email, and answering the phones.
Greet customers, ask if they need help; the designers and sales professionals will take it from there.
Handle cash and orders, address customer service issues, take inventory, accessorize the showroom (using design skills), organize samples, and complete various administrative tasks.
Learn the full scope of different designs and products over time, building interior design skills.
Finish the day by locking up and closing the store.
Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints.
Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, and actions taken.
Check to ensure appropriate changes were made to resolve customers’ problems.
Contact customers to respond to inquiries or notify them of claim investigation results or any planned adjustments.
Other Experience and Qualifications For this particular role, we’re on the lookout for someone who has a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of customer service experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a great attention to detail. Bonus points if you are currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design!
