Talent Acquisition and People Operations Specialist Job Summary:

Provides entry level support to other Architects and Project Managers, including presentation and construction drawings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist in the creation and editing of AutoCAD or Revit drawings, create renderings for applications or other presentation drawings, assist with general office tasks.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Able to follow office standards for AutoCAD/Revit and apply to office documents.

Able to follow directions from Director/Project Architect or Project Manager

Able to understand how X-Referencing works and draw accurately

Able to produce renderings -2D and 3D

Able to work on/set up standalone enlarged kitchen/bath plans, unit plans, building plans, roof plans, etc.

Able to set up and maintain CAD Sheet Set Manager and create plot sheets

Able to follow directions and contribute to SD and DD tasks under supervision of Job Captain/PM/PA

Able to efficiently and accurately create, modify and draw floor plans

Able to design typical unit floor plans under direct supervision of Director/PM/PA

Ability to understand basic accessibility codes and how they apply to multifamily housing projects

Ability to understand the general requirements for funding applications

Ability to understand Wood-frame and Prefabricated Truss construction

Ability to work on / set up stand-alone exterior elevations, building sections, wall sections, details

Ability to modify wall sections/details to be able to create a new one

Ability to understand how changes to wall sections impact plans, building sections, details, etc.

Ability to understand and perform entry-level Construction Administration tasks – Shop Drawings, Meeting Minutes

Ability to understand Fire ratings/fire & sound separations code (floor/ceiling and wall types)

Education and Experience:

3-5 years related experience. Must have a degree in Architecture or a related field, Master degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.
