Job Overview
Hudson Design Architecture and Construction Management is seeking a full‑time Architectural Designer to prepare architectural designs and structural drawings using computer‑aided design tools.
Responsibilities
Create three-dimensional and interactive representations (renders) of designs using computer-assisted design software.
Design and plan residential structures in accordance with environmental, safety, or other regulations.
Plan layouts of structural architectural projects. Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, and estimated costs.
Meet with clients to review or discuss architectural drawings.
Consult with clients to determine functional or spatial requirements of structures.
Design environmentally sound structural upgrades to existing buildings, with sound natural lighting systems, proper sound insulations, HVAC planning and others.
Develop final construction documents that include aesthetic representations of the structure or details for its construction.
Required Proficiencies / Experiences 3-7 years of professional experience. Advanced Revit software, Building and Energy Codes, Basic Structural Theory, skill in maintaining good client relations, leadership in a collaborative design process.
