Responsibilities
Perform high-level equipment planning, design, and optimization
Evaluate and recommend new products; maintain knowledge of emerging technologies
Work with equipment vendors to deploy solutions that meet organizational requirements
Conduct site surveys for locations requiring audio-visual solutions
Gather business requirements and translate them into AV or process designs
Plan and recommend hardware, systems management software, and architecture
Approve and modify AV designs to ensure compliance
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and AV technicians to deliver solutions
Coordinate with facilities personnel for cabling, power, and equipment mounting
Integrate AV equipment with IT systems
Deliver, set up, and maintain technical equipment for live events, demonstrations, and training
Oversee technical planning and logistics for meetings and special events
Assemble, transport, operate, and repair AV equipment
Provide support for live presentations, webinars, and distance learning programs
Advise presenters on AV equipment usage and limitations
Configure and maintain AV equipment; perform troubleshooting and resolution procedures
Monitor equipment performance and ensure capacity planning
Train others on equipment operation and document events
Supervise and guide lower-level AV or helpdesk technicians
Maintain inventory and manage accountability for AV equipment assets
Coordinate ordering, receiving, installation, and removal of equipment with vendors and service providers
Requirements
Experience in a similar role; significant knowledge, experience, and ability to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
Relevant education and/or training is a plus

Crestron: Digital media distribution, amplifiers, HDMI extenders
Biamp: Tesira Forte products
Microsoft: Teams Admin Center, Teams Pro Management, Intune Portal
Visix, NovoDS, Atlas Sound, Atlona, Logitech, Barco, TEKVOX
Mixer boards, projectors (Panasonic, Sanyo, LG), phone conferencing systems
Installation of TVs, mounts, cable runs, patch cable termination
Other AV systems: Extron, TOA, AMX, Vaddio, Network UPS Batteries
Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or GED; 1–3 years of AV installation experience
Preferred: 3–5 years of AV installation experience in a corporate environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
