The Promotions and Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the ongoing planning, coordination and execution of promotions and special events such as high-profile drawings, slot tournaments, Table Games promotions, invitational events, gift giveaways, off-site events, etc., as well as providing a high level of guest service as described in The Exceptional Entertainment Experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the planning, set-up, execution and breakdown of all on-site and off-site promotions and special events. Maintain detailed knowledge of all promotions and special events and effectively communicate those to internal and external guests, including policies and procedures, regulations. Under the direction of the Promotions Supervisor and/or Promotions Manager, assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various and multiple events and promotions, adhering to established policies and procedures, gaming regulations and internal controls with integrity and reliability, including: Acting as emcee for events and promotions, including large promotions that may be aired on social media, YouTube, other digital media platforms, on the gaming floor for large audiences, at special events, on-site and off-site events, in a professional manner in alignment with the Snoqualmie Casino and Hotel brand standards; Detailed planning, project management, delivers presentations, and performs pre and post-review; Conducting electronic drawings, completing prize paperwork, verifying guest information and issuing cash or other prizes as needed; and Assist in development, editing and proofing, of internal and external written and electronic communications, fact sheets, official rules, production requests, advertising pieces, signage, flyers, banners, coupons, controlled items, digital information, etc. as needed. Ensure all signage and collateral on the gaming floor is accurate and current, to include installation and removal of signage, displays, decoration and other materials as scheduled. Effectively handle and resolve errors, disputes, guest complaints in a positive and collaborative manner. Maintain and manage internal processes, expense tracking, inventory and other auditing controls in a detailed and efficient manner. Use gaming software, player tracking systems, and project management software to plan, execute and manage promotions and events proficiently. Support ongoing relations with vendors and community partners in a timely, positive, engaging manner. Provide support for Promotions, Players Club, Advertising, Sportsbook, Hospitality, Public Relations, Entertainment and other departments as needed. Other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department. Requirements

Education and Experience

:

High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD). Minimum one (1) year working in guest service, promotions, special events. Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position. Skills and Abilities

:

Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications. Ability to perform in a fast paced, high profile, 24/7 work environment and accommodate a non-traditional work schedule. Confident, friendly, engaging and approachable, and understands that when on the gaming floor, you are 'on stage' ready to perform. Creatively looks to improve processes. Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, guests, vendors and the public. Demonstrate excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, guest and team member relations according to service standards. PREFERRED

Education and Experience

:

Previous casino marketing experience. Skills and Abilities

:

Experience with gaming player tracking systems, casino players club, promotions and events. Strong public speaking skills, including to large audiences.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
