Job Description:
Note: This position will span the course of one semester
In this role, you will be given the opportunity to create and support multimedia and written content that communicates company priorities and culture. You'll collaborate with the Employee Communications team on messaging, scripts, and campaigns, and assist with publishing to internal platforms.
What You'll Do Concept, develop and produce fresh and creative multimedia content, including audio, video, briefs, storyboards, and scripts, that represent employees across all regions and demographics, while communicating our mission, priorities, and culture internally Partner with Employee Communications team to write content for various leadership messages, campaigns and annual Great Place to Work application Write briefs, scripts, and create storyboards; coordinate resources and develop production schedules for projects Edit delivery to capture speaker's voice, including executive leadership, and effectively reach different audiences from senior leaders to customer service Produce compelling video content that conveys human connection and drives engagement Assist Employee Communications Coordinators with publishing content to the company's intranet, 'My Wegmans Connect', and employee app, 'The Dish' Requirements
Current student enrolled in a related field program, with at least 2 or more years of completed coursework and in progress towards degree in related field Experience shooting digital video and utilizing Apple and Adobe post-production tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including script or speechwriting experience and creative brand storytelling Ability to adjust delivery to capture speaker's voice, including executive leadership, and effectively reach different audiences from senior leaders to customer service Background in creating multimedia content for diverse audiences Ability to produce compelling video content that conveys human connection and drives engagement Preferred Qualifications
Internship or co-op in a related field Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or equivalent experience
