What you'll be doing: Collaborating with engineers during the development phase to build documentation-first concepts. Guiding engineering teams on how to write effective inline documentation and code comments. Crafting comprehensive guides, getting-started tutorials, and detailed API/SDK reference documentation. Detailing infrastructure requirements, deployment configurations, and identifying breaking changes. Translating intricate technical ideas into easily comprehensible content for a variety of developer audiences. Applying docs-as-code workflows and modern documentation toolchains to streamline the documentation process. What we need to see:

Bachelor's degree in technical writing, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5+ years of experience crafting developer documentation for complex technical products with a cloud focus. Proven ability to detail APIs, SDKs, and end-to-end developer workflows. Experience with enterprise-level software documentation is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and containerization. Experience detailing enterprise-grade platforms, WebRTC, streaming technologies, or real-time systems is a plus. Proficient in applying AI tools for co-creation and accelerating deliverables. A track record of improving engineering documentation culture and practices.

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated.
